Spring is in the air and the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Compadres will be out promoting the
Spring Membership Drive and signing up new business owners as
members of the RGVHCC on March 26th & 27th. The new
members will be welcomed with at a New
Member Fun Orientation on April 9th. Current
members will also be welcomed.
Members will be privy to free business workshops, networking events, women's and health issue projects, etc. The RGVHCC focuses on small business and looks to assist people looking to open up a business, expand their business, etc. with assistance at getting their Business Plan and funding thru a guaranteed business loan by SBA and a local financial institution. The Women's Committee is also a very active committee that leans towards educating, empowering and recognizing women for their successful efforts. Health is also an active committee who focus on the health issues of the valley people such as diabetes, heart disease, etc. thru education and health summits. The Government and International Committees also have an active program scheduled for this year.
Anyone can become a member of the RGVHCC Membership dues differ for businesses with 1 to 300 members plus.
